Ir. Dr. Nazrul Anuar Nayan (Mohd Shah House, 1987-1991) is a senior lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Engineering & Built Environment, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He is also the Director at the Centre for Alumni Relations of UKM. He then received Master of Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Gifu University, Japan in 2008. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering, Electronics and Information Systems Engineering, Gifu University, Japan in 2011. He received several awards such as Japan’s Monbukagakusho Scholarship Awards, Student Research Award, IEICE, Tokai Division, Japan , Academic Excellence Award, Gifu University and Excellent Service Award, UKM .
Dr. Nazrul’s research interest is in Big Data in Healthcare (biomedical signal processing), Digital Integrated Circuit Design and Computational Thinking. He has received 4 research grants and published 17 research articles in international journals and presented 27 conference papers. He has supervised 7 PhD and 2 Master students.
He is also a MCOBA’s Volleyball team captain who loves hiking & travelling.
